Anj has over 13 years post graduate experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist. Her clinical skills and expertise have developed over the years though her exposure to a variety of roles that she has undertaken between the private and NHS sectors. She has worked in senior roles throughout surgical specialities, neuromuscular rehabilitation and hydrotherapy. Anj’s dedication to rehabilitation and her special interest in complex high level rehabilitation have exposed her to a multitude of sporting backgrounds. For example, she worked as a volunteer Physiotherapist for the London Wheelchair Rugby Team in the lead up to the 2012 Olympic games and covered a pitch side physiotherapist role for semi-professional rugby clubs. She understands the sporting mind and demands of these specialist fields. In her daily practice, Anj treats people who present with complex pain and individuals with multi-joint dysfunctions with emphasis on long term care and prevention. With a distinctively empathetic approach and using a variety of treatment modalities, Anj thrives to provide her patients with the best opportunity to achieve their optimum whilst empowering them to have full control of their conditions. Some of the modalities she may use include manual handling, acupuncture techniques, taping, Pilates and functional rehabilitation. Being a certified Apos Therapist, Anj is able to adopt a holistic approach to suit the requirements of all her patients and identify a way out of their pain, even when conventional physiotherapy cannot.
